History: 2009-2010 Season
Christmas Concert
January 9 and 10, 2010 -- After being postponed due to the Blizzard of 2009, the Chesapeake Choral Arts Society presented 20th Century Music of the Christmas Season, complete with the debut of an original work, Embers, by CCAS member W.G. Pete Stokes. The concert was followed by a fully staged production of Gian Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors. These two performances were held in the Fine Arts Center of the College of Southern Maryland's La Plata Campus.

CCAS to Perform at College of Southern Maryland
January 9 and 10, 2010

The Chesapeake Choral Arts Society (CCAS) is set to perform:
20th Century Musical Works of the Christmas Season
followed by a
Dramatization of Gian Carlo Menotti's Opera,
"Amahl and the Night Visitors"
on the stage of the Fine Arts Center on the La Plata Campus of the College of Southern Maryland.
The role of "Amahl" will be performed by guest soloist, Tony Teleky.
The role of "Mother" will be performed by guest soloist, Angela Powell (pictured).
The Three Kings will be performed by Chesapeake Choral Arts Society members:
Larry Robinson, Michael Mickey, and John Scheer.
Tickets are $10 for youth through high school and seniors (age 60+)
and $12 for all others.

in person at the Box Office at CSM, (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from noon to 5:00 pm),

or by completing the form above so Box Office Personnel will contact you to complete your order. All pre-orders must be paid for in advance (MC, VISA, checks, cash), but tickets can be held at WILL CALL.
