Let us put together a pair of amazing people who are icons on the Broadway Musical theater World.
Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II began "putting it together" in 1943 with their opening blockbuster, Oklahoma! They went on to create some of the most beloved musicals during the "golden age" of Broadway - Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music, just to name a few. Of course, they weren't the ONLY collaborators on Broadway. Who Influenced them? Who did they influence? Who else did they work with? Well, you'll just have to put yourself together and come to the show to find out! Don't miss our last performance of the season! You'll leave humming, tapping your toes, and singing your favorite Broadway tunes. Both performances will be at Port Tobacco Players Theater 508 Charles St., La Plata, MD PLEASE CHECK THE Port Tobacco Players WEBSITE FOR PARKING INFORMATION! Some areas are "off limits" for patrons at certain times. |
