2009 - 2010 Concert Season
Gian Carlo Menotti, 1944
The Chesapeake Choral Arts Society's 2009-2010 concert season, will be a celebration of musical compositions from the mid to late 20th century. The new season will feature Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, a March Pops Concert of themes from movies and television, and a June concert featuring Rutter's Requiem and Randall Thompson’s Frostiana: Seven Country Songs.

The CCAS rehearsal/performance year runs from early September to mid-June. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the La Plata United Methodist Church, La Plata, Maryland located at the corner of Routes 6 and 301.

High school and college students are welcome to join this adult choral group.
