The Arts4All Singers
“Arts4All” is an umbrella program for all the arts programming offered by the nonprofit, Southern Maryland Community Resources (SMCR). It includes visual, performing, and literary arts. This choir, the “Arts4All Singers”, is now in its second year.
SMCR does not have brick and mortar amenities, but rather partners with community organizations to provide inclusive opportunities for those living with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Southern Maryland community.
The Chesapeake Choral Arts Society (CCAS) has truly embraced this new choir! Several CCAS members are supporting it as participants and mentors, making it a genuine inclusive experience for all. Arts4All Singers is open to teens and adults of ALL ABILITIES as well as family members.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at
Peace Lutheran Church, 401 Smallwood Drive, Waldorf at various times throughout the year.
Currently, there is no cost to become a member of the Arts4All Singers, as grants, donations, and income from SMCR fundraisers are continuing to fund this experience. Thanks for welcoming us and for your support.
A very special thanks is extended to CCAS for this partnership and to Arc Southern Maryland for the use of its Ability Cab to assist in getting some members to and from rehearsals.
